Inquiry Reports

Introduction

A platelet is a very important part of your body that helps your skin stay alive and healthy. My question is a platelet, and what does it do?

Body

A platelet is a white blood cell. Platelets help your skin stay alive and healthy. If the number of platelets you have is too low, excessive bleeding can occur. However, if the number of platelets you have is too high blood clots can form (thrombosis), which may obstruct blood vessels and result in such events as a strike, myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism or the blockage of blood vessels to other parts of the body, such as the extremities of the arms and legs.

Conclusion

In conclusions, platelets are one of the most important parts of the human body, and help us stay alive.
