Introduction

This report focuses on apple pips.


Body

There are over 7,500 different cultivars, varieties of apple world wide. Apple seeds typically measure between ½ and ¼ inch long. Each apply core has five carpel’s. A carpel is the reproductive part of the fruit.


Pips contain a small amount of amygdaline which can turn into cyanide when digested. But you will need to eat large quantities of the seeds to get sick. In some cases seeds have been known to grow in warm, moist nasal cavities. IN addition apple pips have a hard shell making them difficult to open and digest. While they are poisonous, they are not likely to poison anyone.




Conclusion


In conclusion the pips are very bad for you so you should not eat seeds or pips.
