Inquiry Reports

Introduction

This talk is about the oesophagus. I will tell you what it is, and where it is. I will also say what job the oesophagus does.


Body

The oesophagus is the organ that connects from the mouth to the stomach. It is the way food travels to the stomach.

The oesophagus starts at the top of the mouth and stretches down to the stomach. It also lives in the neck. When you eat food moves down to the stomach through the oesophagus.



The oesophagus involves muscular contraction and relaxations which propel the food forward to the stomach.


Conclusion

In conclusion, the oesophagus in very important to the human body. Without the oesophagus we would not be able to eat. The oesophagus allows the food to get to the stomach.
