Why does the lion roar

I chose Lion because he is very caring for his family. He has orange hair with sharp sharp teeth. Sometimes he is on the hunt for other animals. Other times he just lies down in the shade to have a sleep. He has a gentle voice but when heaps of bees sting him he roars as loud as a summer storm. Lion is a good guy as he is loving and caring.
